Our policies were developed with fairness to the student AND instructor in mind. Keeping both happy is a challenge. Classes are more productive with more students, and research demonstrates that classmates depend on others to be there to enhance their learning experience. Many of our classes close registration several days before the class date/time because they fill up, so please do not delay registering.

Unless otherwise noted in the course description or under contract terms with the contracting organization, the following cancellation policy applies to instructor-led/classroom courses:

If the learner cancels

• Five or more days before the event date and start time - full refund of the registration fee, minus a $10 administrative fee
• 4 days or less before the event date and start time - no refund. Instead, the learner must submit a Rescheduling Request to the instructor conducting the class. (see the rescheduling section)

AHA regulations require a minimum number of learners to be enrolled in each class to host the class. The AHA requirement means that even one learner canceling can directly impact our ability to support several other learners who signed up for the same class.

The date of the submitted request will be used to determine the refund amount. Book fees, card fees, and shipping are not refundable. Credit card refunds are only to the card used in the original transaction. A refund may only be issued for a charge transaction settled within the past 60 days. Contact our office for refund methods used in non-credit card payments. Textbooks and/or online course access key(s) are nonrefundable or transferable.

Unless otherwise noted in the course description or under contract terms with the contracting organization, the following cancellation policy applies to skill sessions (aka blended learning sessions):

For HEARTCODE OR ONLINE HEARTSAVER HANDS-ON SESSION, if the learner cancels:

• Seven or more days before the event date and start time - full refund of the hands-on session registration fee, minus a $10 administrative fee
• Six days to 72 hours before the event date and start time - full refund of the hands-on session registration fee, minus a $20 administrative fee.
• Seventy-two hours or less before the event date and start time - no refund. Instead, the learner will need to submit a rescheduling request. (see the rescheduling section)

The date of the submitted request will be used to determine the refund amount. Credit card refunds will only be refunded to the card used in the original transaction. A refund may only be issued for a charge transaction settled within the past 60 days. Textbooks, eBooks, or online course access key(s) are nonrefundable or transferable.

The CPR Training Company, as a tenant, has no control over the physical layout of our training locations. Please get in touch with us if you have any concerns about your disability needs.

The CPR Training Company is an education service provider and operates just like any education provider (schools, colleges, etc.) by providing access to educational services. By buying a service from the CPR Training Company, the learner is acknowledging the following agreement:

• By pressing "Register" to complete the online registration, I agree to pay tuition and fees and further agree to reimburse the CPR Training Company the fees of any collection agency, which may be based on a percentage at a maximum of 33 1/3% of the debt, 12% APR on such debt and all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, the CPR Training Company would incur in such collection efforts.
• The buyer makes all monetary transactions to secure the right to access specific educational services delivered on a particular date, time, and location defined in the event information during registration.
• The monetary transactions are only refundable if the Instructor fails to provide an instructor at the specific date, time, and location or if the learner drops the class per the timeline outlined in other parts of the event policy.
• All provided educational services are provided without warranty or guarantee of successful completion.
